The inaugural ABU AI Forum, held from July 23–24, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel Beijing, brought together leading minds in media, technology, and policy from across Asia-Pacific and beyond. Hosted by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) in collaboration with Radio and Television of the People’s Republic of China (RTPRC), this forum set the stage for dynamic exploration into the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on the media and communications landscape.
Unlocking AI’s Future in Media
The event centered on four essential themes: technology, security, governance, and sustainability. Panel discussions, masterclasses, and expert exchanges provided deep dives into how AI is revolutionizing real-time media experiences, creating new governance models, ensuring security, and driving sustainability.
